Type 252 Filter

The Type 252 filter is designed to clean supply gas or air before it enters the pilot on a pilot operated regulator, pneumatic instrument, or other device that requires clean gas to operate properly. The extended length filter has a larger drip chamber to hold more moisture and debris. Filter materials comply with the recommendations of the National Association of Corrosive Engineers (NACE) MR0175.

Type P590 Series Filters

P590 Series filters are designed to remove dirt, scale or other solid substances from gases just upstream from pilot supply lines for air or gas pressure regulators.

P590 Series filters come with either aluminum or brass bodies and cellulose or aluminum/brass filter elements. Type P593-1 is also available with a NACE option.

The brass body filters (P595 and P594-1) are capable of handling up to 1400 psig (96,60 bar) working pressure, while the aluminum-bodied (P593-1) can withstand 600 psig (41,10 bar) maximum working pressure.

Features

  • Compact Design
  • Install in any Position
  • Economical

Body Size and End Connection Style

  • Connections: 1/4-inch NPT
  • Length: 3-1/4-inches (83mm)

Maximum Working Pressure

  • P595 and P594-1 with Brass Body: 1400 psig (96,6 bar)
  • P593-1 with Aluminum Body: 600 psig (41,4 bar)

Flow Coefficients

  • The gas sizing coefficient (Cg) for all three filter elements at 75% clogged is in a range from 15 to 20.

Filtering Densities

  • Type P595: The wafer-like construction of the aluminum and brass filter elements enables this unit to remove all particles of greater diameter than 50 microns (0.002 inches / 0.00508 mm).
  • Type P594-1 and P593-1: The phenolic resin impregnated cellulose filter elements of these units are capable of removing all particles larger than 40 microns (0.0016 inches / 0.004064 mm) in diameter.

Construction Materials

  • P593-1(1): Body Material = Aluminum, Filter Material = Cellulose
  • P594-1: Body Material = Brass, Filter Material = Cellulose
  • P595: Body Material = Brass, Filter Material = Aluminum/Brass

(1)NACE option is available.

Type 111 Needle Valve

The Type 111 needle valve is a small, lightweight manual throttling valve typically used when the application requires a small port diameter and a large end connection. The needle valve is operated by uncapping the bonnet, inserting a key over the recessed valve stem, and turning the key. After adjustment, the bonnet is capped to inhibit tampering.

Features

  • Tamper-Resistant Setting
  • Precise Adjustment
  • Compact, Efficient Design

End Connection Style

  • 1/2-inch NPT

Construction Materials

  • Body and Bonnet: Brass
  • Valve Plug: Brass
  • O-Ring: Nitrile

Maximum Valve Body Pressure

  • 1500 psig (104 bar)

Flow Coefficients

  • Cg: 12.8
  • C1: 35

Port Diameter

  • 1/8-inch (3,2 mm)

Temperature Capabilities

  • -20° to 180°F (-29° to 82°C)

Approximate Weight

  • 1 pound (0,45 kg)

Type 50P Pressure Gauge

The Type 50P-2 pressure gauge has a plastic carrying case and a three foot flexible hose on the gauge. The Type 50P-2 is used by gas service technicians to check pressure on low-pressure regulators, meters and appliances.

Features

  • Versatility
  • Easy to Read
  • Variety of Pressure Ranges

Dimensions

  • Gauge Face Diameter: 2-1/2-inches (63 mm)
  • Carrying Case Dimensions: 2-1/2 x 5 x 6-inches (57.2 x 127 x 152,4 mm)

Calibration

  • 0 to 35-inches w.c. (0 to 20 ounces per inch2)

Y602 Series Vent Assemblies

Y602 Series vent assemblies help to prevent the obstruction of vent openings, allowing proper air or gas flow for regulator spring cases, remote vent lines, actuator diaphragm casings, and miscellaneous applications. These vent assemblies are available in either angle or straight styles. Typically, angle vent assemblies protect vent openings that face sideways, and straight vent assemblies protect vent openings that face either up or down. Both styles provide protection to vent openings when carefully selected, installed, and oriented so that the opening in the vent assembly faces downward.

Features

  • Weather Resistant: Double-lip moisture deflector of Y602 Series vents resits water bridging across vent opening. Vents resist plugging due to inclement weather such as rain, sleet, and snow.
  • Bug Resistant: All Y602 Series vents except the Type Y602-16 vent have screened vent openings to resist insect entry and resultant clogging. Screened opening is larger than that of other available vents.
  • Stabilizer Helps Prevent Cycling: Spring-opposed stabilizer in vent outlet of selected Y602 Series vents restricts vent breathing rate, providing stability under normal conditions. Force of rapid discharge opens stabilizer when such discharges occur.
