As an industry-standard Pt100-385 sensor, the Rosemount 78 RTD Temperature Sensor offers single or dual element configuration with Class A or B accuracy.
The wire-wound design is a great solution for applications that require high accuracy or high temperature. A variety of options for enclosures and connection heads are available, as well as calibration options, including Class A sensor calibration or Callendar-Van Dusen constants.

Time Constant / Response
For single and dual-element, 4 seconds maximum required to reach 63.2% sensor response in water flowing at 3 ft/s (0.91 m/s)

±0.05% maximum ice-point resistance shift following 1,000 hours at 400 °C (752 °F)
Insulation Resistance
500 x 10^6 ohms minimum insulation resistance when measured at 500 Vdc at room temperature (20 °C [68 °F])

IEC 751 Class A accuracy; Calibration schedule or customer-specified calibration range, both with Callendar-van Dusen constants
