We are currently recruiting for an Inside Sales Engineer for our Final Control Team in our Clifton Park, New York, Main Office.

Role and Responsibilities:

In this role you will be working primarily in the office with our Final Control team and be responsible for assisting with our company's revenue growth through customer technical and commercial sales and support activities. This includes handling customer inquiries and requests directly, as well as supporting the sales efforts of our Outside Sales (Account Manager) team. Responsibilities include communicating with customers by phone and electronically; assisting customers with product application, specifications, selection, price quotes, order requests, delivery; and product documentation - thereby leading the customer through the sales process.

The successful candidate will report to the Inside Sales Manager in our Clifton Park, NY, Main Office.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A four-year technical degree, preferably in Engineering, at an accredited institution is required, preferably with some industrial sales experience.
  • Training will be provided, however, related process control system experience or technical sales experience would be helpful.
  • Strong technical/computer background
  • Exceptional communication skills and customer service practices
  • Ability to successfully multi-task and manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
  • Entrepreneurial work ethic
  • This position has been deemed as Safety Sensitive - successful candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment Drug test and Background Check.

The training provided for this opportunity will consist of formal training and mentoring, under the supervision of the close supervision of Northeast Controls' Inside Sales Manager, also located in Clifton Park, NY.
